To do that, go to Settings » Discussion from the left sidebar of your WordPress admin panel. On this page, you need to uncheck the option that says “Allow people to post comments on new articles” and then click on the Save Changes button to store your settings. This will disable comments on all your future posts.
Head over to your Facebook Page settings > General > Page Moderation. Now add common symbols such as “.” and words like “to,” “you,” etc., to the forbidden keyword list in your Facebook page administration. P.S. It will turn off commenting for all such comments on all your Facebook posts and ads altogether.
Simply click on the three dots icon at the top right of the post. From the options that pop up, tap on “Turn off commenting.” Comments will now be disabled.
To use this option, access the post for which you want to turn off comments on Facebook. At the top-right corner of the post, click the three dots. In the three-dots menu, click “Turn Off Commenting.”
Click the “Edit” button next to each app and then click the audience selector next to the “Posts on your behalf” option. Select who these posts should be visible to or click “Only Me” to prevent them from appearing on anyone’s news feed.
“Turn off notifications of this type/about this post.” The wording on this option varies by post type, but it allows you to unfollow a post — which means you won’t get notifications every time someone replies just because you commented once — or to turn off notifications from certain pages or groups.
For Facebook ads, you can disable comments using Facebook Moderation. You can access this through your Page Settings > General > Page Moderation. This will hide incoming comments to your posts and ads.
Click on “Settings” from the new dropdown list. Choose “Profile and Tagging” in the left Settings menu. Click the “Edit” option to the right of “Hide Comments containing certain words from your profile.” Click on “Hide comments containing certain words from your profile,” then type your flagged words in the text box.
Click Settings & Privacy, then select Settings. In the left menu, click Privacy, then select Public Posts. Next to Comment Ranking, click Edit. Select On or Off.
To change this, open each profile picture and go to Edit, click the privacy button, and under Who should see this?, choose More Options and then click Only Me. You must do this separately for each photo in the album, including your current profile picture.
This is because products posted in Marketplace can be viewed by anyone with access to Marketplace. However, items you’re selling aren’t automatically published on your Facebook News Feed, and your friends won’t be notified about the items you’re selling unless you choose to share that information with them.
All you can do is make an offer, message seller, save or share. No comments allowed. Comments are only possible if you share the item as a new post on your own feed: I wonder why Facebook made that choice.
Unfortunately, you can’t hide your Facebook comments. Only the person who initially shared the post can change the privacy settings of that post. If they decide to hide or delete the post, the same thing will happen to your comment.
However, your friends will see a comment if they can also see the photo. For example, if you comment on a friend’s photo, only mutual friends will see the comment on your wall, but if you comment on a photo on a public page or a friend’s profile that is open to the public, everyone will see the comment on your wall.
Go to Settings → Notifications → Instagram → Notifications Off .
Step 1: Login to your account by entering your user Id and password. Step 2: From Messenger Chats, tap your profile picture in the top left. Step 3: After that, tap on Notifications & Sounds. Step 4: Here, tap next to On to turn them off.
Open your profile and select ‘settings‘ (you can find your profile by clicking on your avatar top right). Then uncheck ‘allow comments and likes’.
How do I hide comments and reactions while watching a live video on Facebook? To hide comments and reactions in a live video you’re watching, swipe right across the screen. Swipe left to bring them back again. You can also tap the video, then tap in the top right to turn quiet mode on.
You can use Facebook Page moderation to disable comments under all your ads and organic posts using keywords. Go to Facebook Page Settings > General > Page Moderation and type in the most popular words like “do”, “to”, “you”, etc.
Click in the top right of Facebook. Click Settings & Privacy, then click News Feed Preferences. Click Reaction Preferences. Next to On your posts, click the toggle to turn this setting off at any time.
