At 44 years old, Tom Brady tops the list of oldest quarterbacks in the NFL. He has been in the league for over 20 years, mostly with the New England Patriots, but now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady is, of course, the greatest quarterback of all time and has shown no signs of slowing down yet.
However, this wasn’t just a regular “W” for Brady. Securing this victory made the seven-time Super Bowl champion the oldest starting quarterback to win a game in league history at 44 years, 37 days old.
Drew Brees is currently the second oldest active NFL quarterback after Tom Brady. Brees recently turned 42, just a few days before his final game of the 2020 NFL season. On February 6, 2021, Brees renegotiated his contract with the New Orleans Saints for the upcoming season.
