NOW That’s What I Call Music! is 50/50 co-owned by Sony Music and Universal Music and the streaming app is available on iOS and Android mobile devices. The NOW Music compilations brand launched in 1983 has seen over 125 million sales and in 2019, over 1 billion streams were made through NOW playlists.
The series of Now! albums was brought to the United States in 1998 by Bob Mercer. The most recent album in the series, Now That’s What I Call Music! 80, was released on October 29, 2021.
Now That’s What I Call Music! 108 is a newest (in May 2021) compilation of popular music tracks from top music charts. It consists of 2 CD’s as usual, although the 2nd CD is filled in with new music and is not a re-release of old tracks.
NOW’s latest numbered volume, NOW That’s What I Call Music! Vol. 73, will be released on CD and digitally on 24 January. NOW 73 features 16 major current hits from today’s hottest artists, including Maroon 5, Taylor Swift ft.
43 and ending with Now That’s What I Call Music! 48 Volumes 1 to 18 and Now That’s What I Call Music! 20 were released on individual VHS tapes, with the first two albums also issued on LaserDiscs.

Re: New Vinyl vs Old Vinyl
The original 70s, 80s and early 90s releases are much better than the new pre-presses. There is a huge difference in sound volume and quality. There are fairly good new ones also but not as good as the old ones. Some new releases and re-presses have crackles, IGD etc.

If you have a vinyl record that has a jacket or cover, this is the first place you would check for the date when the album was released. If the album doesn’t have any date for that quickly tells you the release date, then you can check the label on the middle part of the disc.
The Vinyl LP, Gatefold Sleeve edition of the record, released on Harvest, was sold in 2018 for the sum of $3,242 (£2,557). It means it ranks 31st in the list of most expensive records sold in the country.
