You might check to see if “Optimize Photos” is turned on. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Optimize Photos. If it is on, you may not be able to edit the photos on your phone. You may have to edit them in iCloud instead.
Click the picture. Click Picture Tools > Format, and in the Size group, click the arrow under Crop. From the menu that appears, select Aspect Ratio, then click the ratio that you want. A crop rectangle appears, showing you how the picture will appear when cropped to the selected aspect ratio.

Select the Dress Layer. Go to the Adjustment Layer. Select Brightness/Contrast. Increase the Brightness if needed.
In iPhoto’s editing mode, select the Brushes tool and tap the type of adjustment you want. Then simply drag to “paint” the areas you want to change. Try zooming in by pinching outward with two fingers, or dragging with two fingers to reposition the image onscreen.
Step 1: Open TouchRetouch and either take a new picture, or choose one from your Gallery (the app calls this Choose from Folder). Step 2: Pick a tool for removing the unwanted object(s) and adjust the size of the tool with the slider that appears.
Click one of the triangle options, which will give you a diagonal crop. You can experiment with different triangles, such as one that shows more of the top left corner of the picture versus one cropping out that area and leaving more of the bottom right. Click a triangle to commit the diagonal crop.
To keep the resolution while cropping the image, click on the Image pull-down menu and select Image Size. A new window will appear that shows you the size and resolution of your file. Make note of the size and resolution (in this case our file is 300 dpi). Click OK to exit the window.
