Click File, and then look for Author under Related People on the right. Right-click the author name, and then click Edit Property. Type a new name in the Edit person dialog box.

Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, you’ll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.
If you ever want to quickly update the Modified time stamp of a file to the current day and time, right-click that file, select Properties, select the TimeStamps tab, and then click the Touch button. That will instantly change the Last modified entry to the current day and time.
Date modified: the date of modification is adjusted every time you make changes to the file and you overwrite the original file. This could be the case when doing something like editing your photos with an image-editing program.
Place a comment on a document, then right-click on that comment and select “Properties”. Now go to the “General” tab and change the name. Check the “Make Properties Default” checkbox at the bottom of the dialog and click on “Ok”. From now on, the name associated with this type of comment should be updated.
